A New Mechanism of Naming Topological Entities for Semantic Feature Operations
نویسندگان
چکیده
Naming topological entities and the validity maintenance of model are two important issues in Computer Aided Design, which can make a semantic feature model conform to all constraints correctly. In this paper, a new mechanism of naming topological entities based on face features is proposed. Based on the corresponding mechanisms for naming topological entities, the methods of coding entities, sub-entities and virtual entities are given. The mechanisms for maintaining the validity of semantic feature operations are described. Sub-edges, sub-faces, virtual faces and virtual sub-edges are applied to process the problem of face obliteration. Sub-edges and virtual edges are used to process the problem of edge obliteration. After the mechanisms for naming topological entities and the methods of validity maintenance are applied to HUSTCAID system, its modeling performance is improved and the feasibility of the proposed mechanisms and methods above is also proved.

Semantic Feature Analysis Treatment for Anomia of Two Nonfluent Persian-Speaking Aphasic Patients
Objectives: Semantic Feature Analysis was designed to improve lexical retrieval of aphasic patients via activation of semantic networks of the words. In this approach, the anomic patients are cured with semantic information to assist oral naming. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Semantic Feature Analysis treatment on anomia of two nonfluent aphasic patients. Methods: A...
متن کاملComparative Effectiveness of Semantic Feature Analysis (SFA) and Phonological Components Analysis (PCA) for Anomia Treatment in Persian Speaking Patients With Aphasia
Objectives: Anomia is one of the most common and persistent symptoms of aphasia. Although treatments of anomia usually focus on semantic and/or phonological levels, which both have been demonstrated to be effective, the relationship between the underlying functional deficit in naming and response to a particular treatment approach remains unclear. The aim of this study was to determine the rela...
متن کاملPersistent Naming for Parametric Models
Nowadays, many commercial CAD systems support history-based, constraint-based and feature-based modelling. The use of these new capabilities raises the issue of persistent naming which refers to the problem of identifying entities in an initial parametric model and matching them in the re-evaluated model. The goal of this paper in to propose a naming mechanism and an hierarchical structure enab...
متن کاملIdentification of Topological Entities and Naming Mapping for Parametric CAD Model Exchanges
As collaborative design and configuration design gain increasing importance in product development, it becomes essential to exchange parametric CAD models among participants. Parametric CAD models can be represented and exchanged in the form of a macro file or a part file that contains the modeling history of a product. The modeling history of a parametric CAD model contains feature specificati...
متن کاملImplementation of persistent identification of topological entities based on macro-parametrics approach
In history based parametric CAD modeling systems, persistent identification of the topological entities after design modification is mandatory to keep the design intent by recording model creation history and modification history. Persistent identification of geometric and topological entities is necessary in the product design phase as well as in the re-evaluation stage. For the identification...
